Does Intel Processors Achieving a Speed of 10 GHz in 2011 ..?
In matters of computer processors, Intel’s name undeniable brilliance. Inevitably, later in the year 2011, predicted that their desktop processors will achieve speeds of 10 GHz.
If you look at the current computing needs, a processor with a speed or high multitasking capability is absolutely necessary.
As quoted Geek, Monday (05/10/2010), Intel processors predict they’ll achieve the speed of 10 GHz later in the year 2011.
Estimates are very striking indeed, especially for the existing line of processors on the market today there are not achieving the speed of 4 GHz.
During develop a product, Intel is always adheres to Moore’s Law which makes the number of transistors in processors they will increase two-fold every 18 months. However, slightly different from that processor speed is always doubled the speed.
Does this mean Intel will work to make processors with speeds up to 10 GHz? Just wait for the presence of these processors are scheduled to be introduced in coming years.
