Google not surrender compete with Facebook?

Google may be king in terms of searches on the internet, but in social networking, google still difficult to compete with Facebook or Twitter. A rumor indicates that Google has not given up.

According to news circulating on Twitter, Google is preparing a service called ‘Google Me’. This service will become a kind of Facebook-style social networking features.

The news spread by Kevin Rose, Digg founder of the site who claimed to have heard from ‘reliable sources’. As quoted from SFWeekly, Monday (28/06/2010), Rose began spreading the news via Twitter.

If the news was true, this is Google’s effort to create a social networking site for the second time. Previously, Google has a site called Orkut.

Google has also tried to compete with Twitter, by making Google’s Buzz. Yet his efforts can not be said to succeed.
